Phase One of the Refurbishment of the North Crescent buildings, the general modernisation of Fitzroy House, has recently been completed. The works comprised a total refurbishment of the property, involving external repairs, the re-roofing of the building, the creation of a new reception area, new toilets and shower rooms, as well as a comprehensive floor-by-floor overhaul of the office areas and building services &#8211; all of which occurred on a phased basis with the tenants remaining in occupation.<br />
The Phase Two and Three works at the neighbouring Telephone Exchange and Minerva House buildings continue to progress and are due for completion in May 2012.</p>

Chair of Westminster&#8217;s planning committee Cllr Robert Davis said <i>&#8220;The designs for the new development are exceptional and have presented us with an exciting modern building.&#8221;</i></p>
