The affordable units have now been handed over to Ujima Housing Association. The scheme will provide a total of 103 apartments in a mixed use development with Primary Care Centre, Group Practice and retail units, contained within 5 and 6 storey linked blocks over basement car park.

Work started on site in the beginning of December for this redevelopment of an island site to provide 162 no residential units within three blocks and 45,000 sq ft commercial accommodation over a basement car park.

The first phase of the Burlington Arcade refurbishment has been finished on time and was unveiled by Joan Collins who brought some Christmas sparkle to the occasion as she turned on the 2007 Christmas lights. http://www.burlington-arcade.co.uk/

The unveiling of the gates was timed to coincide with the turning on of the Christmas lights. The gates, incorporating the new Burlington Arcade branding, complement the prestigious Arcade and provide increased security to the expanding array of high profile jewelers joining the Arcade.
