Project Details |
Located within the Littleberries Estate, formally the headquarters of the British Province of the Order of The Daughters of Charity and St Vincent de Paul, this existing Grade II Manor is being sympathetically converted into twelve exceptional residential units.
At the heart of the Manor lies a late C17 house, extended in the late 18th Century, and increased through the addition of a Seminary Wing and Chapel in the mid-19th Century, and the Refectory Wing in the late 19th Century. A small lodge house sits to the west of the property forming part of the entrance into the site and will contain a family dwelling. The project has involved an intricate planning process, and extensive collaboration with the Local Authority. Considerate proposals have been developed to deliver a contemporary scheme within this sensitive building. The complexities of upgrading original structures to meet with current standards has involved innovative and challenging solutions, to ensure that original features are retained and enhanced. |
