Osel were appointed to design a three-storey side extension over the existing vehicular access, a two-storey rear extension at second and third floor levels and an additional fourth-storey with external terrace to the existing three storey office building. The planning consent for the extensions was granted and Osel are engaged to prepare the working drawings for delivering the project.

Osel architecture have successfully secured Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for the redevelopment of a Grade II Listed former banking hall into a new restaurant/bar facility in Cavendish Square. The proposals will see the introduction of a new retractable glass roof terrace and a state of the art electrical cooking system.

Project Details

Osel architecture successfully helped win a planning appeal to convert units back into a commercial workspace for use by Cherryduck who are a locally established media company in Wapping. The Nest has been created which is an ‘exclusive workspace hub built with creatives, marketers, designers, filmmakers, photographers, animators, producers and everything in-between in mind.’

Osel completed the measured site survey, design, planning including the appeal and construction drawings. We also worked with the interior designer and coordinated to secure Building Control approval.

Project Details

The Client’s aim was to attend to this building with a five year plan in mind as well providing space to meet the top end market rates for office space in this area. This was achieved through the careful specification of finishes for the offices as well as high quality finishes and furniture to the reception. The refurbishment of the building also addressed the crucial need to overhaul the existing lift and upgrade the heating and cooling system of the whole building.

Project Details

The refurbishment of a late 1980s office development. The scheme included improvement of the design of the atrium and the circulation between ground and first floor levels.

Two new light in appearance staircases were installed to provide access to the first floor office space only. The existing glazed entrance screen and revolving doors were replaced with a new lightweight glazed screen incorporating a glazed draft lobby containing four pairs of wheelchair friendly automatic sliding doors and a glazed cantilevered canopy over.

Project Details

Zenium Technology approached Osel to prepare and design proposals for new Data centres in the Turkish capital of Istanbul. A collaborative series of development proposals for alternative site ranging from a single building in excess of 200,000sqft to 3 separate buildings of 80,000sqft, 74,000sqft and 92,000sqft to be developed in 3 phases.

The project was facilitated through our data management system which ensured ease of file transfer and document retrieval to international consultants.

Osel have been commissioned to refurbish and reinvigorate this 1970′s office building. The works include a new core serving the entire building and the 2 new floors, which are to be added. A new atrium reception area is to be formed with a new entrance from Plantation Lane.

The elavation to eastcheap will be re-modelled over the lower 3 floors and all levels will be re-glazed. All M & E services are to be renewed. The finished proposal will provide 7687m² of contemporary office space.
