Project Details |
A 76300 sq ft development within the new Jumeirah Village Circle, Dubai. The mixed use residential and retail development provides 35 high quality two and three bedroom units, 13 of which are maisonettes. The development also includes a high specification gymnasium and external swimming pool within the landscaped gardens. A ground floor level retail unit and childcare unit is included. Osel was involved in the design and production information stage of the project working with a local architects practice.

The Schoolhouse

Project Details |
A conversion and extension of a former School House into a contemporary two-storey five bedroom house offering 3,899 sqft of luxury accommodation.
On the ground floor there is a large principal living/dining room with a spiral walnut and glass staircase leading to a galleried study above. Pocket doors open to a fully equipped kitchen/breakfast room which has independent access to the hallway and a spacious utility room. On this level are also a guest cloackroom and two bedroom suite, one with a walk in dressing area. On the first floor is a particularly spacious master bedroom with vaulted ceiling feature, a large dressing room and an oversized and luxurious bathroom. From the upper landing a door opens to a bedroom/sitting room. From the second room a further door leads to the gallery study overlooking the principal entertaining area below. Externally there is a landscaped garden. |

Extension and refurbishment of existing West End office building, including new roof top extension, total re-elevation of principle facade, refurbishment of common parts and replacement of lift. All works were undertaken with the building in occupation. Osel were involved from design stage through planning approvals and construction phase, including providing Lead Consultant and Contract Admin services.

Project Details |
The refurbishment of a late 1980s office development. The scheme included improvement of the design of the atrium and the circulation between ground and first floor levels.
Two new light in appearance staircases were installed to provide access to the first floor office space only. The existing glazed entrance screen and revolving doors were replaced with a new lightweight glazed screen incorporating a glazed draft lobby containing four pairs of wheelchair friendly automatic sliding doors and a glazed cantilevered canopy over. |

Project Details |
Redevelopment of an island site in Canning Town to provide 162 no residential units within three blocks of varying height, the ground and mezzanine levels provide 4200m² (45,000 sq ft) of commercial accommodation over a basement car park with 138 parking spaces. 56 of the units are affordable one and two bedroom units for the Genesis Housing Association.
The second phase involved the conversion of retail areas into twenty two new apartments with private gardens and landscaped areas. Osel were responsible for the design and production of the construction information. |

Zenium Technology approached Osel to prepare and design proposals for new Data centres in the Turkish capital of Istanbul. A collaborative series of development proposals for alternative site ranging from a single building in excess of 200,000sqft to 3 separate buildings of 80,000sqft, 74,000sqft and 92,000sqft to be developed in 3 phases.
The project was facilitated through our data management system which ensured ease of file transfer and document retrieval to international consultants. |
